Who needs a Bank Funding Certificate?

A Bank Funding Certificate is an independent report made by a Quantity Surveyor assessing the cost of a building project.

Banks or other financial lenders typically require a check of the construction budget, contract and other documents. Secondly they need to verify that the physical progress on site aligns with the drawdown request and invoicing from builders and subcontractors.

This can be a daunting task if you don't feel comfortable or knowledgeable enough to put together an accurate budget. This is something we do all day, every day at Measure Twice and I am happy to help you.

What's included

As a part of the Bank Funding Certificate you will receive an initial bank report covering the development budget. The second report is the drawdown report. I will also cover valuation of any variations or additional works that may arise during the process of the project. This will show the lender that the funds will be used appropriately and that the project is feasible.
